The Tripod 50kg is a light-weight, rugged and compact module for mounting payload up to 50 kg in field defence and aerospace deployments. It is a foldable unit with a flat base on each leg, fabricated using aluminium alloy for most components and stainless steel where applicable. An interface plate is provided for connecting the tripod to the payload. The single-stage design adjusts between 750mm minimum and 1350mm maximum operating height. Swiveling feet allow stable deployment on uneven ground surfaces. A spirit level bubble indicator ensures accurate leveling. A mid level spreader is available for additional stability and a quick release mechanism in the top plate enables rapid payload attachment and detachment.
