What is the EMLA-500?
The EMLA-500 is a highly customised long-stroke linear actuator for high thrust linear motion applications requiring extended travel in pedestal and positioning systems. The unit is configured with a quill, barrel and drive unit incorporating a suitable motor, gearbox and brake. Built-in electronics sense end positions via limit switches and enable self-locking at any intermediate position without requiring continuous power. Position feedback is available for closed-loop control integration. A separate drive unit accepting a PWM input signal is supplied for driving the actuator.
